Google just released performance max bidding. This is like AdWords re-expressed 2.0. There's this taboo thing where you bid on competitors names, right? You can't use it in their copy. So that performance max is to spend your money as wildly as they can and hope to get conversion so you'll continue to do it. It's not necessarily better for the advertiser, but it's better for Google.
