Chess - Is There a Lot of Obstacles?

You and your family faced a lot of obstacles from different chess institutions or even chess players. Was that something that was difficult to deal with when you were improving? And also for your sisters as well? Well it caused difficulty but I think it was mostly for Susan who had to deal with that. As Susan was the first child that was really they didn't know how things worked that much. When I was number three in the family they had already quite a few and good experiences with different things so they knew more how to deal with those obstacles.
