The Belgic Confession (1561) is one of the Three Forms of Unity (including the Heidelberg Catechism and the Canons of Dort) and is the confession of the Reformed churches. It was written by Guy de Bres (1522–67), a minister of the Reformed churches in French-speaking churches in the southern Netherlands. The earliest sources tell us that these articles were originally sermons and the guide for those sermons was probably the French Reformed Confession (1559). The Confession has a strongly pastoral quality and is an excellent devotional guide. The Heidelberg Reformation Association is pleased to present this audio version of the Belgic Confession. It is just over 1 hour in length. It is suitable for helping you and your children to learn the confession or to refresh your memory of the confession. ©Heidelberg Reformation Association.
