Is There a New Drug in the Pipeline?

In terms of novel antibacterial and novel antifungals, one study that stuck me is the Brazilian study which looked at liposomal amforid medicine as a single dose. I think in ID, a lot of the drugs are drying up either because we have resistant pathogens that are emerging or other issues. And I think it's critical for us to encourage studies on novel drugs. In terms of COVID-19, that's a topic that is dear to me because that's the data I keep looking. As much as I hate to admit, I guess the pandemic is still kind of smoldering.
