The Importance of Spirituality

For some people, spirituality is synonymous with religion. And I'm not meaning to insult anyone kind of with more of a new age mindset. But that's also not what I mean. So for me, combining the two, it's of or having to be concerned with the human spirit rather than the physical parts of life. Sometimes I describe it as like, it's everything a monkey doesn't do. It's seeking transcendence, creating works of art and cultivating spiritual qualities.
