The Delineation of God's People
Jeremiah's message to the people of Judah is that they don't love him or obey him. He says, "Oh Lord, you have deceived me" Jeremiah tells them not only will God not stop Babylon, but he himself will fight against Jerusalem. In chapter 22, God sends Jeremiah with a follow-up message for Kings at Achaia: Stop oppressing the poor and the orphans and the widows. That's your job.
