India's Chandrayan 3 mission has arrived at the moon and is now in the process of circularizing its orbit. On August 23rd, it's going to deploy a rover and a lander down to the surface of the moon once againDown to the South Pole of the moon. No spacecraft has ever made a soft landing near the South Pole on the moon. And so if India is able to pull this off, they will be the first ones to explore this area in detail.
