The trial lasted a week. A bunch of congressmen and reporters testified. It was just, you know, it's huge in the media y. The jury declared charles cincade not guiltinoing that he had acted in self defence. He went home and collapsed. His health was always poor, but now after the trial and being jaild and the shooting, he was in really bad shape. Six decades after the trial, one of his sons called it a farce.
