The Importance of Deliberate Practice
In psychology, there's a concept called deliberate practice. Fitness function is the idea of what are you optimizing for? What is the purpose and outcome? And the goal shapes the process. Once you get clear on it, then make that filter your focus. You're always iterating towards a fitness function or towards a destination. That one goal ultimately helped me be and do and have all the other things I wanted in my life.
