Cleopatra has been painted as a drunken whore, which was coincidentally my Tinder name when I was a little bit younger. Throughout history, there's always been an obsession with sexualizing women of the Middle East because if you sexualize a woman, then she is more savage and less sophisticated than the demure Western women.
