The Ice Block Igloos

Early inuit and aliute peoples had a great deal in common. Many lived in dome shaped houses made of sod or timber, or ice blocks. Tribes began building their igloos or snow houses by making bricks out of ice or snow. People used toboggans, snow shoes, light weight canoes to get around. The sub arctic culture is mostly composed of water log tundra,. swampy piny forests, but not that kind of piny for long time suckers.
