When a market slips into a downtrend, our brain has to say, okay, I have a portfolio here. Where can I hedge in terms of getting those things working for me? A lot of us use things like vertical collars. Another way that I love to do it is by looking at the spy or the cues and on a great big bounce into a daily chart heavy congestion, right? That would be where the black moving averages when it gets up into that area up at the top there.
