Is There a Problem With Left UBI?
The idea of a universal benefit really is an emancipatory idea, right? And the idea of the UBI from the left is that it will actually allow people to have a life right. The problem with society with economy today is not a distribution problem but a production problem. That is that originates in over production and global over capacity,. Low low wage and low productivity services can fill in the gap that's missing due to the running down of the industrial growth engine.
