The Perspicuity of the Bible

When it comes to the scriptures, we have a doctrine called perspicuity that lots of Protestants, myself included, would hold. The doctrine of perspicuity says that the Bible is understandable. It's not so far away from us that we can't comprehend it or understand it. So many of us go into those kinds of texts and say, well, I think it could be this. And I want to also deliver prophetic words with the measure of confidence that I know that Lord has spoken to me on.
