In medieval times, pigs were a bigger pest than rats in London. The government offered rewards if you could kill a pig and bring them evidence that you'd kill the feral pig. They used to have blinding lights that shined when they were on the launch pads. This would lead log head sea turtles away from the ocean but towards the launch pad Lights. So they changed their lights to be less disorientating bulbs. Good for NASA. If they're going to retrieve any of the booster rockets that land in the banana river, they now use water jets as opposed to propellers so that they don't kill wildlife.
