Santa Claus in Japan

In japan they dress up colonel sanders as santa claus. And i was asking myself, why is that so silly to me? Why does that seems so silly and funny? Thats santaClaus in japan. The popular image is as a result of this corporete avotar, this big corporation's avetar dressed up as santaclaus. So when you see colonel sanders dressed as santa Claus it doesn't look like colonel sanders. It just looks like santaCLaus with a sol patch. I suppose what i'm teasing at, for my hartake, is the complete social construction of what christmas is.
