The Importance of Being a Kid in Jersey
As a kid in Jersey, it was either cover band, Springsteen or Jovi. It's like you had to play covers on the East Coast. I didn't really start playing out a lot until I moved out here till after college. As soon as I heard the cure and the Smiths specifically in REM to early REM, I was like, I don't want to learn that like write songs like this. And then it all changed.
