Is Steven Spielberg Really Awesome at Making Movies?

Steven Spielberg is an absolute genius. He's never less than stellar at making movies. I think this is why this is such a successful movie for him. It can, it has to be scary to make this movie about your child and like dig all the way into your childhood in this way. And yet that idea that we're just hitting on there and where comfort lies also resonant in the film.
