Python Over R for Machine Learning Platforms
If you're making really high performance machine learning platforms, it totally makes sense to use a strongly typed language. And if Haskell had the support, Haskell would be a great one for that. But for a lot of other problems, the tooling around Python is, man, I don't want to say it's better than R, but it's better situated for shipping and R isn't.
