The best time to start any strategy is 20 years ago. I can't predict what's going to happen in the mid-term. Nobody does. The number one thing you can do is find a solid strategy and apply it for the long term. You're going to go through these frustrating periods of time, like you can see in this particular chart. But don't attempt to time when to turn the system on and when to turn it off. That's the wrong thing to do.
