The Soviet Intelligence Establishment in Cuba During the Cold War
After the Cuban missile crisis, Soviet intelligence established an enormous eavesdropping facility in Cuba. The KGB's by simply putting aerial masks on their embassy in Washington was able to intercept short, shortwave radio communications. We can only imagine what they were able to achieve from the enormous base in Cuba, directed at major US military bases in Southern Florida.
