I think for people listening who might be in a similar situation or might just need to get down to the core of what they're preoccupied with and what they want their particular art slash writing project to mean to them. You know, going and working in a different medium. It gave you a place to be that wasn't maybe in league or even in competition with your folks or with other writers. That would give you some cover and some time to think and sort it out. And there you get case in point, right? It's like, wow, this is pretty hardcore. He's really like hearing voices and seeing shit and then at the same time it's hilarious.
