The History of Cluster Ballooning
In 1937, photographer Al Mingolone tried to capture aerial footage of a golf course by hanging from 32 weather balloons. After Larry Walters, many people attempted to try out cluster ballooning. Jonathan Trapp is one of the most famous individuals in the U.S. who enjoys cluster ballooning as a hobby. He's not only flown a house, like we've seen in the movie Up, he's crossed the English Channel with cluster balloons.
