The Life and Times of William Marshall
When William Marshall was in his teens, he went to train as a knight in Normandy. By 1170, when he was in his mid-20s, he'd made such a name for himself that he caught the attention of Eleanor of Aquitaine. She appointed him as personal tutoring arms to young Henry. When the young king was dying, Marshall decided to let bygones be bygones and raced to be with his friend before the end. And that's where we're going to try and follow him next.
