CHAPTER

The Fall and the Narcissus Myth

William Blake says that the Greek myth that is the equivalent of the fall is the Narcissus myth. We became, became enamored with our own self-consciousness and we're no longer seeing God, we're seeing ourselves. So you can see how this is all different versions of Narcissus and being enamorous with our own inner world.
