How to Establish a Healthy Relationship
The first thing is to create space and some boundaries for yourself, not instantly giving all of your time to this other person. Figure out what it is that the two of you want, and that doesn't just mean talking together, but also evaluating for yourself. If you are concerned about this, talk to a therapist or someone who can help you evaluate outside of that relationship.
