There's a huge furry community on second life actually. You can customize your avatar however you want so you can make it into a furry character. In terms of VR chat as well, there's like entire worlds where you can just kind of walk around as your character. They can sit on a virtual couch with their friends from across the world and like watch a movie together in character form.
