Bill has been losing his hearing for a little while, and it has a massive impact on his ability to hear the calls of birds. It soon became apparent that actually he's suffering from musical hallucinations. Andad one point he said to me that he wished his cranial d j could be changed. I think hat what this really illustrates is the fact that many of our experiences originate from the brain than rather than from our peripheral sensers.
