Movie Review - Missus Chan

I feel that i'm thinking about how earlier men said that the style, almost literally, is the substance of their feelings. Those moments when the actors step a little bit above the style to perform those feelings really slap me across the face. I miss her subjectivity the end. This is another point where i'm a little disappointed in the movie, because she does sort of drop off the map after she visits the old apartment. Even in the sequence when mister chow is in singapore and maybe missus chan breaks into his room to take her slippers back, i read that as something of a projection on his part.
