How to Move Away From Obligation and Generosity

We are still expected to be tithing, but that's a difficult thing to move away from this kind of expectation, obligation mentality into real generosity. I have four kids and anytime I tell them, you have to go do this immediately. It's just like human nature, right? And never mind. But if I take the Tom Sawyer approach of say, Oh, painting this page, this fence is really fun,. they're like, Hey, yeah, let me give you a paper. Anybody want to join me? They're like, hey, lets talk about how much we're going to give. So she said it was the most emotionally sort of uplifting experience for her.
