Is Mixed Reality the Next Big Thing?

VR and XR companies really hope that VR hasn't reached this point of the hype cycle. If this is where VR is now, then we may never see a mainstream adoption of virtual reality. For the metaverse to be more than just an online community for a subset, mixed reality needs to be a big thing among the mainstream. And it just isn't yet.
