i have always felt an affinity with london. And i remember going through the churchyard and being very not impressed by it, but almost sort of spooked by it,. because it was a ruin. There was a wind going through all the ruins, and all the weeds, the tumble weed, a spinning round. And i felt i could here, almost hear, the people who lived in the churchyardand populated it. So it fascinated me that this was indeed the centre of the book trade er, and i've always wanted to write about it, and so i have.
