The Unique Expression of Street Football in Brazil
Most players in Brazil grow up with street football. And then you have the cultural influences of, you know, Samburn Capoeira and the cultural kind of identity or idea of Jinyas. Before you know it, you've got this perfect storm of if you want to call them kind of movement cultures that overlap and infuse each other. You get this very unique expression in football. There is some really wonderful work out there by a researcher called Louise Yawada.
