There's evidence now coming out that it's about two women for every man in many academic institutions and that proclivity towards female dominance seems to be increasing. But once the men drop to one third of the population, the women stop going. And then there's the social aspect where students eat together at cambridge or oxford colleges - god only knows how important that is. It could be that the decimation f the underlying social community in washington is enough to drive polarization to the point where the whole system will rock and crumble.
