Plasibo Effects - Are They Related?

belief effects are made up of three things. It's the social context, mind sets, or beliefs, and physiological processes in the brain and body that can produce outcomes. So i think placibo effects should be reserved for the conditions in which you're actually taking placibo - an inactive substance. There was a paper a year or two ago published in science about brain regions involved in psychogenic fever. That if people, or you can actually do this in animal models too, think that they are sick, you get a genuine one to three degree increase in body temperature. One to three degrees fahrenheit increase in body temperatures is pretty pretty impressive.
