Is There a Single View of the Beatific Vision?
In the world to come, our apprehension of the divine will still be mediated thoh the human natures that we have. We don't apprehend god through our bodily senses in the same way that you and i are intracting throughOur bodily senses. It's something else that's going on. But its still, in a sense, a amediated apprehension,. Inasmuch as you have to have the physical body in order to be in a position to enjoy the beotific vision. When not, we're not wholly immaterial beings like angels who exist in the presence of god.
