The Importance of Respect in Relationships

Mahaawiyar Adiallahu Anhu was one of our great Sahaba. He managed to bring a lot of calm after the turmoil that had started at the end of Uthmana, the Allahu Anhu's life. Moaawiyar: My relationship with my subjects is like both of us holding on a tug of war with a string that is as thin as a hair. Anybody who pushes, pulls too much, right? And the other person doesn't let go, that hair is going to split.
