Is Religion a Part of Japanese Politics?
Most people in Japan don't identify as religious, but we see through this story some strong ties between religion and the state. It's said that only about one in four Japanese admit that they are active in one religion or another. Another three quarters of Japanese are supposedly non-religious. But you know, it's not the first time that a certain religion draws public attention because of its ties with the power, state power.
