The Benefits of Running Mailchimp in Safari

Mailchimp has its own web app powered by Safari technology. The one time that I did create the newsletter in Mailchimp, it seemed to be taking up a lot fewer resources than when it was in a tab in Safari. But there are other aspects of Safari that are broken out into other processes that are not necessarily easy to tell whether it's related to Mailchimp or not.
