Is There a Difference Between Traits and Traits?

One of the ways that social bias arises is that you use a stereotype and it's inaccurate, whereas if you use a trait, you will have better accuracy. If we really want to understand people, we can't just rely on, oucan't judge a book by its cover. You have to dig deeper. We haven't gotten past tis essentialist idea that by belonging to the category, you now have an essence that makes you c that suggests limited variability. But that's not true. And again, there were political reasons why that science was promoted at the time, et cetera.
