"I like that formulation, objectifying the thing. I guess i would be surprised if objective existence, being present at hand actually implies the view from nowhere thing," he says. There's going to be a contrast between the world treated as equipment and something with which we have more tacit knowledge than ready-to-hand know it all. "It's the difference between being engaged in a task and knowing how to do it, and having that nohow ingrained in your bones."
