Chat GPT

Chat GPT is a language model. It's trained on all sorts of web information. We'll have 57 billion lifetimes of text, a huge amount of information that it reads over and over and over again to try to memorize the information. And yet lots of people including me who've played with it have found that it will share misinformationQuite freely and it doesn't tell you where it's got it from. So I think that it is a problem. We want our virtual assistants to give us the correct factual sourced information. That's something that my research group at Glasgow has been working on.
