I think that one of the big problems with conservatism in general is that too many people, both on the reporting side and on the sort of analysis opinion side, have internalized this idea. If you're a conservative, you're supposed to be thinking about what the Republicans can do to win,. Or if you're a liberal, you’re supposed to bethinking about what is the best framing for Democrats to win. And I try really hard not to do to be a political player to be letting those kinds of calculations affect what I say or how I think about these things. That explains a lot of liberal media bias.
