A lot of people believe, wrongly, that they have to be the finished article to start a creative project. The truth is that when you start out, nobody's going to be paying attention to you anyway. Momentum is what keeps you moving in the right direction even when you don't feel like it. So how does my experience check out with this? Well, when I started out, I was about as clueless as it gets. But being the fool allowed me to get better and learn from some amazing people.
