We shut off ourselves to information, even the things that we might think we don't agree with or whatever. If we're shutting out something and we say it doesn't exist, how do we get to a point that's aligned with reality? That seems to me kind of counter to what you're suggesting is more optimal. We should have a flow of information where I can decipher for myself or align to myself in an open system. And that's why I call this psychotic because as you say, it has, is lost touch with reality,. So then it becomes almost this product, this product hallucination, this collective hallucination without any touch with the reality and no capability of doing a reality
