The Challenges of RNA Biology in the Human Genome
I started a company called RANA, which became translated by UMA. It was working on essentially non-coding RNAs and very, very interesting science from Ginily and MGH. We could see that if you could in EBIT and PRC2, which is one of the epigenetic, I would say, editing enzyme, which is tri-metallating, you could essentially de-repress some loci on the genome. And it worked incredibly well in rodents. Unfortunately, we had a week of time to make it work in NHP. But fortunately, they did. And then now of course, we got proof of principle there on human.
