The Humility of Jesus to Empty Himself Out
Jesus was sent out of kindness and gentleness, like a king sending his son who is himself a king. He willed to save men by persuasion, not by compulsion. For compulsion is not god's way of working. So here comes jesus. He empties himself. And people hardly even notice that god is in the neighbourhood. What a miracle.
