Is There a Difference Between Head to Head Lifting and Plios?
In all six studies, there was no statistically significant difference in lower body muscle hypertrophy between pliometric training and resistance. The other group of studies they looked at were comparing a lifting alone to lifting plus pliometrics. And so in those two studies, a lifting plus plios didn't lead to more hyperdrophy than lifting alone. So it didn't seem to be an additiv effect.
