Intimacies - Translation in the Plural

i love this idea of language having a kind of spacial, though almost physical mity. Throughout the novel, as you noted, what the character is really experiencing its proximity and intimacy of multiple kinds,. Some of which are desired and some of which are undesired. I didn't want to write a book where you would feel the movement of this character's mind on the page. It often takes one, two, three, four tries to kind of reach the and so that kind of approximation, those multiple attempts is really central to my sense of tis particular voice.
