The Risks of Vaccine Immunity to SARS-CoV-2
The risk right now for the COVID-19 vaccines is theoretical. I haven't seen data suggesting that people who are vaccinated are getting sicker. Your body can adapt very rapidly to any new variant with natural immunity. This hasn't been shown with vaccine converted immunity. The effectiveness compared to the original strains is much lower.
